The prospect of facing an in-form Jack Grealish gives José Mourinho plenty to think about this Sunday as Spurs aim to make ground on the top four.

Rock-bottom Norwich City is the only team with fewer away wins in the Premier League this season than Tottenham. That’s a fact that Mourinho and his men need to put right if they have any realistic hope of challenging for a top-four place and their next assignment isn’t an easy one.

On the flipside, Aston Villa has won their last two home matches across all competitions (against Watford in the Premier League and Leicester in the EFL Cup), both thanks to stoppage-time goals courtesy of Tyrone Mings & Trezeguet respectively.

Aston Villa star man Jack Grealish is the most fouled player in the Premier League this season, and he could come into direct combat with Spurs fullback, Ivorian Serge Aurier. Aurier is a quality player but has been known to have a short fuse, and Villa might try to play on that weakness in his game.

If Mourinho isn’t willing to take a risk with Aurier, he has the option of deploying impressive youngster Japhet Tangana at right-back with fit-again Ben Davies slotting in on the left.

Either way, the right side of Tottenham’s defence is in for a stern examination against one of the most technically-gifted midfielders in England.
