Arsenal are back in England following a week’s training in Dubai during the inaugural winter break, ready for their clash against Newcastle on Sunday.

The Gunners have a few injury worries ahead of the clash, but will certainly welcome some first-team members. 

Ahead of the match, who is fit and who is not? 

The defender is available for selection after recovering from a niggling left thigh strain.

Saka was substituted at halftime against Burnley last time out, but has shaken off the injury and is available for selection as well.

The defender has not played since the match against Liverpool in the FIFA Club Wolrd Cup while with Flamengo, but was has been training with the rest of the team in Dubai and is in contention to make his debut. 

The youngster is fully fit and available for selection following right hamstring strain.

The January signing from Southampton is still recovering from a knee injury, and according to the club communication, he is progressing well with gym work and is aiming to be in full training by the end of February.

The youngster is still out having dislocated his right shoulder during the West Ham Utd match on December 9.

He has however on the right path to recovery and was with the rest of the squad in Dubail even though he worked away from the first team.

The defender ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee against Chelsea on December 29 but had a successful surgery. His rehabilitation process expected to take between six to nine months.
